Product Training
- TownSteel offers our RX Series 3-point and 5-point ligature resistant locks in both mortise and cylindrical format.
- Good use cases would be: psychiatric hospitals, detention centers, and behavioral healthcare settings.
- We offer the CRX-A in the F87 Asylum function, and this is the only cylindrical lock to pass NYOMH's paper clip resistance test.
- TownSteel's cylindrical and mortise locks all pass NYOMH's paper clip resistance test.
- All TownSteel RX Series products have stainless steel trim, lockbodies are ANSI / BHMA Grade 1, are available in regular lever, arch lever, and knob.
General Product Updates
- Aegis SecureExit (ESG) trim should hopefully be ANSI / BHMA Grade 1 certified and UL certified by the end of this week / end of the month.
- In roughly another week, the Rejuvenator mortises should be certified ANSI / BHMA Grade 1.
Literature and Cut Sheet Updates
- We are currently working on several new collateral pieces, including:
- Product posters and counter mats for distributors
- A new Indicator Suites catalog, and updated Product Showcase catalog
- A new healthcare focused tri-fold brochure
- A few cut sheets are finalized and have been published in the new format:
- We have many more cut sheets that are currently in the process of being updated and converted to our new cut sheet format. Among these are cut sheets for the AegisSecure system, the 7000 series locks, the rest of the TDC door closers, the ED1000 series, ED9700 series, ED8900 series, ED3700 series, exit device trims, and the MRX-A, MRX-L, MRX-K, and XMRXA.
